Chloé exit

It's musical chairs time again on the Paris fashion scene. Yvan Mispelaere becomes the latest designer to switch jobs, quitting Chloé to take up the position of design director at Gucci, where he will work under creative director Frida Giannini, trade paper Women's Wear Daily reports. Mispelaere has long been a key member of the Chloé team and took on an even greater role after British designer Phoebe Philo quit the French label in January to spend more time with her family. Chloé is expected to appoint a new creative director shortly after its spring-summer 2007 ready-to-wear show on October 7.
